Coming from outside of Europe? You’ll probably land in Amsterdam (Schiphol Airport). From there, the fastest and easiest way to The Hague is by train. The train station in Amsterdam is underneath the airport and also quite accessible.
Another option is to book your flight via Rotterdam (The Hague Airport). When travelling from Rotterdam, take the bus and metro to The Hague.
As mentioned, it is possible to travel by public transport within The Hague. Use the 9292 app, website https://9292.nl/en or the 9292 widget below to plan trips within The Netherlands. The public transport might be crowded between 07:00 - 09:00 am and 05:00 and 06:30 pm.
Trams and buses in the region are controlled by HTM. Ticket for buses are sold in the bus itself and tickets for trains are sold on the stations. The ticket cabinets at the train stations are recognizable by their yellow color. For more information about public transport in The Hague, tickets and prices of HTM, please check their website. Additional information about tickets and tourist cards can be found here.
Traveling by car
The Fokker Terminal has more than 400 parking spots and 8 electric charging stations. Their parking guards will guide you safely to the free parking lots.
The Hague is a busy city, so there might be traffic at peak times!
